The Back-Off Bat is a kind of Bat in Databrawl Roleplay that knocks people away. Its purpose is for Contributors and Moderators to enforce the rules by launching bad-doers away and giving them a verbal warning. It is only wielded by people with the Contributor rank and up (or otherwise, people who have been noted to be given special permission to wield the tool). It is one of the five special tools (the other four being Spam Evade/Fly, Hide, Ragdoll and Body Part Replacer) that contributors spawn with.

Its appearance looks like a regular Virus bat (albeit being bigger.) They make a distorted bass sound when they hit a player, using the same noise made when players are hit in the Battle version. The purpose of the Back-Off Bat is to stop the crowding of players with the Contributor rank and up. Some players claim that Contributors+ abuse it, but these claims are often false, as usually those who complain were actively pestering Contributors+ or breaking rules.

The Back-Off Bat can be used to fling people into hazards such as the Fire Pit, thus killing them.
