Legacy Lore

This page contains many lore elements that are not considered part of the new, official lore. It's very unlikely that it will still be considered canon for new lore, but will maintain relevance in old lore.

Cookies are mass-produced entities found in Databrawl. They are the personified embodiment of HTTP cookies in real life.

Databrawl (Battle Version)

In Databrawl Battle Version, Cookies are one of several characters obtained via getting a Special Token for the Program team. They used to be support characters.

Stats

120HP, 24 WALKSPEED.

Weapons/Abilities

Rolling Pin - A weapon that functions similarly to the Bat used by Corruptions, but it is weaker and cannot perform a Home Run. The weapon (categorized as a "Swinging Melee" weapon) deals 36-40 damage and has a cooldown of 0.8 seconds. It can also deal a critical hit which deals x1.5 the usual damage (effectively 54-60 damage). The chance of a critical hit is 1/20 (5%).

Slingshot - A medium ranged weapon whose projectile temporarily stuns enemies and deals 16-20 damage. The weapon has a cooldown of 8 seconds.

Real World Counterpart

HTTP Cookies, also known as computer cookies, are pieces of data from a website that are stored within a web browser from which a website can retrieve at any time. They are used to tell a server that a user has returned to a specific website, and allow websites to remember things like previously selected settings or preferences, as well as things like selected items in a shopping cart or login credentials.

Variations

Cookies are known to have many variations, from their alternatives to the Corruption Cookies and Cookie Assistants.

Non-corrupted Cookies

Corrupted Cookies

Corrupted Cookies have several different types that they can be, those being Primary, Secondary, Tertiary, and Quaduary.

Primary - Cookies that were originally normal Cookies, but got directly infected, then corrupted by Corruptions.

Secondary - Cookies that were made mostly out of Corruption essence ever since their creation.

Tertiary - Cookies that were made partially out of Corruption essence ever since their creation.

Quaduary - Corruption Cookies that are not Virus or Malware based, or presumably unknown.

Notable Cookies

More Facts

  • Originally, default Cookies had a different design. This was changed to the current design around October 13, 2019.
  • Before becoming a Program Special Character and Program Gyggle was added, Cookies originally functioned as Program Nybbles. Cookies were only able to hold food items above their heads, unlike normal nybbles which could hold mines and Program hearts aswell as food. They were removed from this role when Nybbles were removed on June 16, 2019.
  • On July 7, 2020, they obtained one accessory, being the "Head Cream Removal", which basically removes the top cream of the Cookie.
  • A corruption cookie may feel harder than a normal cookie due to their core having a solid, yet unstable state.
  • When the core of certain corruption cookies, such as the Berlingozzi, is exposed, they do not spontaneously explode. Instead, the core rapidly melts back into a liquid substance. Sometimes, infectious gases can be spread because the melted substance evaporates quickly.
  • Once a Cookie is corrupted, it is unable to turn back into a non-corrupted Cookie.
  • On February 21, 2021, Cookies got removed from the Support spawn pool and became Special Token characters again.
  • The standard Cookie's name (Gingerbread) is based off of the fact that Gingerbread is an ingredient in cookies. It might also be a reference to Gingerbread Men.
  • Originally, upon death, Cookies exploded into a cloud of Jelly, dealing 10 damage to enemies nearby. However, this was eventually removed due to bugs.
