Legacy Lore

This page contains many lore elements that are not considered part of the new, official lore. It's very unlikely that it will still be considered canon for new lore, but will maintain relevance in old lore.

Crystals are an environmental object in the Dataverse. So far there are only five known Crystal types in the Dataverse.

Crystal Types[]

Monotone Crystals
Corruption Crystals such as Virus and Malware Crystals. These particular Crystals are made out of dead Corruptions.
Genatorium Crystals which are what the shells Program Hearts are made out of. Deceased Programs can also form these crystals.
Bitcoin Crystals which are used to make Bits and other objects.
@@ (pronounced "Alla") Crystals

More Facts[]

There was an @@ Crystal underneath the map in Databrawl Roleplay, presumably an unused asset that has no purpose. It was moved behind the basement besides the Program Apartments, presumably a reference to a ruse involving the same @@.
The CEO of McDod, Frederick Crung, wears an @@ crystal necklace.
There are Genatorium and @@ crystals scattered throughout the map for an unknown reason, both of which can be mined with weapons and pickaxes.

On November 6th 2023, the models for the Corruption and Genatorium crystals, as well as the Raw Genatorium got updated.
