- Originally, the design for Dragonfly Prime was going to be the standard Dragonfly, however DuncanDunclub deemed the original Dragonfly design too complex due to its eyes, so he drew up a simplified concept that became the current design for the standard Dragonfly. The original standard Dragonfly design then became the Restricted "Dragonfly Prime" version so that the model would not go to waste. However, on October 29, 2022, Dragonfly Prime was turned into an accessory, presumably due to even more complex characters being public at the time.
- Dragonflies are based off of a character who is also named "Dragonfly" from one of quicktiger's original ROBLOX games called "Bug Buzz".
