Emotes are different animations that a player can preform by typing them in the chat. They can be used to express different emotions while Roleplaying.

- The /e dizzy emote was added on July 26, 2020.
- However, /e dizzy emote doesn't work in Battle Mode.
- The /e dance emote has gone through a few changes throughout Databrawl's development. At first, back in the earlier days of Databrawl (2017-2018), the dance used for the Alpha Characters was the default "/e dance" emote. Then, this dance was updated to the dance now known as "/e dance2", which was the default "/e dance" emote between 2018-2019. Finally, the /e dance emote was updated to its current version, and the older version was changed to /e dance2.
- The /e vibe (1 2 3), /e dance3, /e spook, /e sleep, /e nod, /e shake and /e beckon were added on September 16, 2022.
- The /e alt (1 2 3) were added on October 22, 2022.
