Not to be confused with Hybrid, a notable individual.

Hybrids are gooey/crystalized entities which come in entirely randomized variations.

As stated above, they come in various different variations. Some of them are solid crystal, some of them part crystal part goo, and others of them, full goo. The crystal ones have eye-lights on them that help them with vision and can travel throughout the entire crystal formation.

Weapons/Abilities

Hybrids have the ability to control Programs and other innocent kinds of software (including Firewalls) via attaching themselves to their innocent host with their goo. Hybrid-controlled entities do not die from the process of being turned into a Hybrid's puppet, however, they suffer from immense pain, and lose complete control of their bodies. Hybrids mutate their hosts to make them more weaponized and much more powerful. For example, according to DuncanDunclub, a singular Hybrid-controlled Program can take out three Corruption Brawlers at once.

The only way to free a Hybrid-controlled entity from a Hybrid's control is via killing it. There is no other way. If the Hybrid is attacked directly or disconnected from the host, the host will still die anyways.

For Corruptions, getting a Hybrid attached to them works much differently. The Corruption host will remain mostly in control of their body, and the Hybrid attachment will serve more like armor and combat-enhancing technology.

Variants

• Hybrid Spire
• Hybrid Geode - A variant of Hybrid that currently does not have much, if any information about it.
