IDS
An Intrusion Detection System (IDS) is a device or software application that monitors a network and signals an alarm once suspected intrusion has taken place. IDS differs from a Firewall in that a Firewall looks outwardly for intrusions in order to stop them from happening.

IDSes are benevolent entities who search for intruders (such as Corruptions) within the computer. Their name stands for "Intrusion Detection System".

More Facts

• IDS's design and model were both updated on September 28, 2022.
• There was once an old written concept for how IDS would function in Databrawl's Battle Zone. This concept was never used.
• According to Dogutsune, the old design of IDS is based off of depictions of robots from the 80s-90s.
