Legacy Lore

This page contains many lore elements that are not considered part of the new, official lore. It's very unlikely that it will still be considered canon for new lore, but will maintain relevance in old lore.

ILOVEYOUs are a powerful species of Corruption. They are based off of a computer worm with the same name.

Real World Counterpart[]

The real world version of ILOVEYOU is a computer worm widely considered to be one of the most destructive malware ever, estimated to have caused US$5.5–8.7 billion in damages and infecting more than 45 million computers worldwide. Also referred to as Loveletter or Love Bug, it was created by Onel de Guzman due to his belief that the internet was a human right and the fact that the Philippines had no laws against the creation of malware at the time.

The worm delivered itself to computers through an email titled "LOVE-LETTER-FOR-YOU.TXT.vbs", pretending to be a love letter from a fictional secret admirer. Once the letter was clicked on, it delivers its payload, which consists of the Internet Explorer page to one of four randomly chosen web pages so that it downloads the file WIN-BUGSFIX.EXE, a trojan. It then adds a registry key so it will run on startup before the user even logs in. It then searches for files to modify, replacing said files with a copy of itself. Lastly, it will open the Outlook program, look for email addresses, and send itself to them.

More Facts[]

  • ILOVEYOU was added on February 14, 2025, with it technically being a readdition due to them originally being modeled by someone who no longer wishes to be associated with Databrawl. As such, said model will not be shown here.
    • When it was readded, ILOVEYOU's alignment ingame was incorrectly stated to be Friendly, whilst lacking the canon checkmark, this was fixed the very next update.
  • ILOVEYOU spawns with a "Letterboard" tool. It is nonfunctional, though its description hints that it might be used as a hoverboard-like means of transportation.
