MEMZ is a character in Databrawl Roleplay created by cryebral. It was one of the first characters to have multiple-colored body parts, as its design was inspired by the error symbols that appear when the MEMZ trojan is run.
Appearance[]
MEMZ is a character which has a yellow head, a red torso and cyan hands. MEMZ has a flat triangular prism head and an exclamation mark for a face. It also has a flat cylindrical torso and flat cylindrical hands which both have X's on them.
MEMZ are most commonly childish and incompetent, this being caused by their overall lacking ability as an actual virus. You see, while the MEMZ virus is destructive, it is not at all functional; it can only spread willingly (By users downloading it intentionally), which means it cannot spread itself or unleash its own payload by itself. Only people willing to activate the virus can unleash the payload, and even then, their payloads can be controlled by the user.
Despite of this, there will occasionally be MEMZ who can unleash their own payload, which are most commonly created by malicious users. These MEMZ will behave less childlike and more competent.
Databrawl Battle Zone[]
In the Battle Zone, MEMZs are a Mega Token-earnable character. They are similar to the original Creeper in terms of their moveset.
Stats[]
MEMEZ has 100 Health (115 with VIP) and ??? Walkspeed.
Weapons/Abilities[]
Quicker Fists - MEMZ can deliver swift but weak punches with their fists using this attack. These particular fists deal 1.09753278906465-20 damage and have a cooldown of 0.085 seconds.
GLITCH - An attack that works exactly like Scareware's scream attack, which disarms and stuns all nearby enemies for 1 second. The move has an effect radius of 20 studs and a cooldown of 20 seconds. Additionally, the move has a duration of 1 second, whereas the MEMZ using the move will do the disarming action and be unable to perform any other moves until the single second is over.
Evade - When used, MEMZ will do a front flip in rapid motion, launching themselves in their direction and leaving a small dust cloud where they stood. The length of time between each use is 8 seconds. This move is lifted directly from Creeper's moveset.
Real World Counterpart[]
In real life, MEMZ is a particularly infamous trojan malware created for danooct1's Viewer-Made Malware series. It was later featured on Vargskelethor's Windows Destruction series, with it being set loose on a Windows 10 virtual machine. This caused the trojan to gain even more traction.
MEMZ has multiple payloads that quickly activate after each other, including moving the cursor, opening up google searches, opening various programs, reversing text, drawing error icons below the cursor, copying the screen's contents and placing them over the screen, and inverting the screen's colors. MEMZ will also create multiple processes that monitor each other. Terminating one of these processes will cause multiple error messages to show up and for the computer to blue screen. Booting the computer back up will cause the boot sector to be replaced with Nyan Cat.
Two variations of MEMZ were created by the trojan's original creator, MEMZ-Clean and VineMEMZ. MEMZ-Clean is a safe variant of MEMZ in which MEMZ's non-destructive payloads can be activated and deactivated at will. VineMEMZ was created after the Windows Destruction stream as a gift to Vargskelethor. It is similar to the original MEMZ, albeit with multiple references to Vinesauce included.
