Malware Nybbles are a short variant of Malware. They are weaker than standard Malware.

Their main job is to bring supplies such as food and Mines to higher-level class variants such as standard Malware, Malware Brawlers, etc.

Databrawl Battle Zone[]

In the Battle Zone, Malware Nybbles are Support Spawns obtained for the Malware team.

Stats[]

80HP (95 with VIP), 24 WALKSPEED

Weapons/Abilities[]

Nybble Fists - Nybbles have the ability to punch using their fists, which deal 24 to 28 damage. This attack has a cooldown of 0.5 seconds and is categorized as a "Bare Knuckles" attack.

Item Carrying - Nybbles are able to carry items to give to allies at a later date. They do this by grabbing items, storing them in their inventory, and "slapping" teammates to give it to them.

Nybble Charge - Nybbles have the ability to launch themselves forward by charging, going slightly faster than the normal walkspeed, charging into an enemy, wall, or window, will cause the charge to stop.

Rank Variants[]

Malware Nybbles can have different rankings other than the basic rank.

Advanced Malware Nybble[]

Malware Nybbles can move up in their ranking via actively fighting and eating Program Hearts, although it may take years (in Dataverse time) for them to become ready to upgrade. Upon becoming ready and upgrading to a higher ranking, they are provided accessories to match their rank, and their body structure changes somewhat.

More Facts[]

  • At one point, Malware Nybbles were playable characters in the Battle Zone and Test Version of Databrawl. When they were first added to the Test Version, they could not attack at all. Then, after that, they could carry/use Mines and other items in their inventory like other characters. This was then changed so that they could not carry things in their inventory and could only carry things on their heads, not use them. Enemy players were able to steal items from Nybbles since they carried them on their heads. After being tested in the Test Version, they were added to the Battle Zone as a playable character. At some point, they were removed from the Battle Zone and Test Version entirely, along with Virus Nybbles and Cookies.
  • Originally, Nybbles such as the Malware Nybble were planned to be A.I. enemies rather than playable characters in the Battle Zone. At some point, in the Test Version, there was a NPC Malware Nybble named "Good Ol' A.I. Testing" near the Fire Pit. This Malware Nybble didn't move, and had multiple ROBLOX forcefields applied to it. It could not be damaged, but had collision and could be stood on top of. However, the concept of NPC Nybbles never fully came to light.
  • Nybbles such as the Malware Nybble were often used for raids on release in Databrawl Roleplay, but since raids are not allowed on Databrawl, they are now rare.
  • On August 15, 2018, DuncanDunclub made an announcement in the Databrawl Discord server asking for Databrawl fans to come up with advanced Nybble design ideas. Fans came up with advanced Nybble ideas and posted them in the fan art channel of the server, however, no design was ever chosen for advanced Malware Nybbles based on this contest. Instead, DuncanDunclub made his own design and added it to the game sometime in 2021.
  • Instead of leaning forwards when moving forwards, Malware Nybbles lean backwards when they move forwards.
  • DuncanDunclub once said that a group of Nybbles are called "Lads". Whether this is still canon or not is unknown.
  • Malware Nybbles were revamped on March 14th, 2020 along with their Virus counterpart and Bytes, and returned to battle on March 15th, 2020.
  • During Databrawl's 2020 Hectic Holiday Event, regular Malware Nybbles were replaced with burning Malware Nybbles. The burning Malware Nybbles maintained a constant distressed expression, presumably due to their burning condition.
  • During Databrawl's 2020 Hallow's Eve Event, in battle, regular Malware Nybbles gained Maramel head attachments that gave them horns and orange protrusions on their heads.
  • Originally, Malware Nybbles threw items to give them to other teammates. This was later changed into the "slapping" method.
  • Originally, Malware Nybbles couldn't eat Program Hearts or food. This was later changed so that they could eat food with a menu similar to the Firewall Shot-Baton's menu.
