This page contains many lore elements that are not considered part of the new, official lore. It's very unlikely that it will still be considered canon for new lore, but will maintain relevance in old lore.
Maramels are an alternate type of Malware that are tan and have gradients in their coloring.
They are made entirely of molten caramel and salt crystal chunks. Unlike other Malware types who are cycloptic, Maramels have multiple eyes.
Canonically, they are somewhat slow, but have strong attacks and enough health to make up for their slow speed.
Lore[]
According to Xtriel, originally, Maramels did not have the appearance they currently have. Upon first entering the Hollow Computer, they looked similar to Meanware, except with a different color. However, they eventually began to evolve and mutate into what they are in order to attempt to combat earlier models of Fructowall Security units.
Weapons/Abilities[]
Maramels use the same weapons as default Malware:
- Malware Data Miner
- Mines
- Malware BattleAxe
- Malware Warhammer
- Malware Sword
- Malware Knife
- Data Chunk
- Data Star
- Malware Bat
- Malware Mace
- Malware Bit Miner
- Malware Chakram
- Malware Hatchet
- Malware Chain
Rank Variants[]
Refined Maramels can have different rankings, in addition to different classes.

Megapunchers - Maramel Brawlers have the ability to punch their enemies with their fists, called "Megapunchers".

Maramel Bodiers are larger and stronger versions of Maramel. They're basically standard Malware Bodiers with a few noticeable differences moveset-wise.
They can be obtained in Databrawl Roleplay by earning the "Town Savage" badge.
Weapons/Abilities[]
Giga Punchers - Hollow Bodiers have the regular Bodier fists with no changes in damage or speed.
Hoard Call - Instead of a Super Smash, Hollow Bodiers can release a Gruel-like radius that buffs any teammates (including the Hollow Bodier itself) by x1.3 damage, x1.2 speed, and x1.2 jump.
Self-Destruct - When a Hollow Bodier dies, they do one last radius attack that will heavily damage anyone that's within the radius. Specifically, Maramel Bodier will tip over, leaving behind a large puddle of a damaging orange liquid that will go away after a while.
Knockback Resistance - Hollow Bodiers cannot be flung by Mines or Special Tokens.
Trivia[]
- The Maramel Bodier's death scream comes from the Glyphid Oppressor from Deep Rock Galactic.
