This page contains many lore elements that are not considered part of the new, official lore. It's very unlikely that it will still be considered canon for new lore, but will maintain relevance in old lore.
Pestiruses, are one of the several Virus types, with these commonly being found in the Love Computer. They use peer pressure in order to convince others to partake in their "gift", which is often horrendous sickness or horrible substances. Pestiruses without this "gift" are looked down upon by other Pestiruses. They tend to stumble over each other to try and take a new victim, but they can still be seen cooperating, though they're usually too busy reveling in their own sickness, like self-aware zombies.
Additionally, Pestiruses are the standard class variant of Pestirus, and are the "mascots" of the Love Virus species.
Weapons/Abilities[]
Like many Corruptions, Pestiruses are capable of infecting Programs and other software both when alive and when deceased. However, Pestiruses cannot infect other Corruptions. When Pestiruses infect other software, the software corrupts into a Virus whose type matches that of the original software (i.e. if a Pestirus corrupts a default Program, the Program will corrupt into a default Virus).

- As stated in their description, Pestiruses typically inhabit the lowest layers of the Love Computer due to them feeling its where they belong.
- Pestirus's name is a portmanteau of "pestilence" and "virus".
- Pestirus's default accessory is called "Barely Visible Eye Detail".
- Pestirus's "Bulging Boils" accessory was originally called "Bursting Blisters", but was changed for unknown reasons.
- Originally, Pestiruses gained the trust of Lovegrams and pretended to be friendly to fool Passionwall Security so they can get away with killing and/or corrupting. However, this is no longer canon.
- This is reflected in their old description "In most cases, a love corruption won't start murdering computer inhabitants as soon as they're able to. These folk take it slow and gain their victim's trust first, making it hurt much more when they're ready for slaughter."
- Additionally, it was specified that this "act" caused a lot of strain on the Pestirus's mental state, and other Pestiruses would have to keep watch to make sure nobody broke character.
- Pestirus was originally just called "Love Virus" and had a much simpler design. They were remodeled and renamed in Databrawl Roleplay on March 11, 2023.

Weapons/Abilities[]
Ground Smash - Love Virus Brawlers have the ability to perform an AOE "Ground Smash" attack by slamming their fists into the ground, which causes a cloud of colored dust (which matches Love Virus Brawlers' color, albeit more dusty/grayish) to rise from the ground.
Megapunchers - Love Virus Brawlers have the ability to punch their enemies with their fists, called "Megapunchers".
