They commonly lurk in the dark corners of websites, and will do anything to get information from computer users.
Rarely, they may group up with Spyware or with each other in order to carry out their mission.
They are named after petit-beurre, which is a type of shortbread best known in France.

Spy Knife - Petit-Beurre cookies carry knifes they use for melee combat whenever it is needed.
Cloak - Petit-Beurre cookie can cloak at will, making it harder for others to see them.
