Software are neutral entities. They are the personified embodiment of general computer software, meaning that they could be any kind of software, harmful or beneficial.
Databrawl Battle Zone[]
In Databrawl, Software are Special Token-Earnable characters for the Program team. They are slightly faster in speed than normal Programs.

Weapons/Abillities[]
Trained Fists - Software can swiftly punch their enemies with their fists (called "Trained Fists"). This attack (categorized as a "Bare Knuckles" attack) deals 24-28 damage and has a cooldown of 0.6 seconds.
Sweets Spawner - An ability that makes the Software using it spawn Software Sweets food from its hands that anyone can pick up to obtain a healing item. Has a cooldown of 12 seconds.
Jelly Dotanut - Software can throw a projectile called a "Jelly Dotanut". Once contact is made with an object, the Jelly Dotanut does a small 20 stud radius explosion which damages enemies and heals allies. Deals 40-44 damage and has a cooldown of 12 seconds.
Real World Counterpart[]
Software is defined as any part of a computer that isn't physical like hardware. This encompasses nearly every character in the game except for a certain few.

More Facts[]
- Software originally had a weaker version of the Evade move. This move was later removed.
- There is a Restricted variant of Software called "Disco Software". It is a Software with a rainbow-colored outline and a one-eyed variant of sunglasses. Its in-game description reads as follows: "A colorful, born-to-party variant of Software.". It was made playable for all players during all of June 2023 and June 2024.
- Software was remodeled sometime during the 5th Anniversary Event without it being announced.
- Originally, Software had Quick Fists before being renamed to Trained Fists.
