- Software Pirates used to be the only characters (along with Cloud Inhabitant) in Databrawl Roleplay that did not have their Program models changed.
- Several Software Pirates, such as the Piracy Boatswain, Piracy Cook, and Piracy Powder Monkey originally had different designs. They were revamped into their current versions sometime in late-2018.
- On August 23, 2022, the Software Pirates were removed due to being outdated.
