Swords are a type of weapon in the Dataverse commonly wielded by Corruptions.

There are four different types of Swords seen in-game, the Virus Sword, the Malware Sword, the Default Sword, and the Little Sword. The Virus and Malware Swords can be seen in both Databrawl and its RP counterpart, where it can be used by their respective sides, while the Default and Little Swords can only be seen in DBRP, where it can be obtained through getting the Toy Weapons from the Toy Machine.

In Battle Mode, swords have a special move known as "Linked Lunge". This move is performed by equipping the sword and pressing Q when an onscreen meter is filled. When performed, the player will thrust their swords forward, causing the player to briefly dash in the direction they're facing with a velocity of 75.

More Facts

• Swords used to be thrust outward before June 30, 2024. This was presumably changed due to it being deemed an unfitting animation.
