Non-Canon Content

This page contains content that may or may not be canon to Databrawl.

The Observer is an orange Enlightener with a realistic eye who stalks the members of its host computer, driving them mad.

No one is sure how it was created, although its first appearance was on August 18, 2019, which is assumed to be the day of its creation. Little is known about The Observer's motives or the extent of its abilities.

Databrawl Battle Zone[]

In the Battle Zone, The Observer is a Mega Token-earnable character. They have only one attack, which is extremely powerful and can deal a good chunk of damage.

Stats[]

The Observer has 666 Health (681 with VIP) and ??? Walkspeed.

Weapons/Abilities[]

Observing Beam - The Observer can shoot a large beam out of their eye that does ??? damage. Getting caught in this beam means certain death unless you have enough health, are able to move out of the way, or The Observer looks away. The attack has a very large and audible windup and has a cooldown of 10 seconds.

Knockback Resistance - The Observer is immune to knockback.

More Facts[]

  • The Observer character was created by Brikooo, a well known Databrawl moderator, meanwhile, the Enlightener base used to create the character was made by Quicktiger.
  • The Observer's pronouns are it/its and they/them.
  • The Observer, shortly after the first time they were seen, had a page created on the Roblox creepypasta wiki.
  • In noncanon lore, nothing can destroy the Observer. This is obviously not reflected ingame.
  • Originally, the Observer was just a regular Enlightener colored with the Hexadecimal Editor to be orange. After a while, DuncanDunclub made a custom model for the character that featured a realistic eye instead of the regular Enlightener eye. This custom-made Observer was then made into a Restricted character.
  • The Observer's eye was updated to be even more realistic on January 10, 2021.
  • In Databrawl Roleplay, The Observer was available to all in the Default pack, as part of the Jokebrawl Dontplay event on April 1st, 2020.
  • The Observer can be found in one of the alleys nearby the Antiware Hospital in the Battle Zone.
  • In Databrawl Battle Version, The Observer was moved to a location around Mother Park.
  • During the Halloween event in 2019, there was supposed to be an Observer with a more realistic looking eye that followed the camera, however it was never anchored and all of the parts just fell onto the ground.
    • During the 2020 event however, it was anchored and could truly be seen, and when touched, it would kill you. Note: The model of this observer was made by xtriel, and isn't in-game aside from that event.
  • As of April 1, 2021, the classic model of the Observer can still be found in the Restricted pack.
  • Observer was made a badge character on 6/20/2021. The badge itself is notoriously difficult to obtain (and extremely vague when it comes to it's requirements), and it's regularly questioned if the badge can be obtained at all.
    • However, currently, the badge itself is currently unobtainable due to a bug.
  • On August 10, 2021, the Observer was added to Battle Mode as a Developer only character. When played as, the Observer can fire a large orange beam that does massive damage.
    • During 2023's (and 2024) April Fools event, the Observer was able to be obtained by getting a Mega Token.
  • Oddly enough, depictions of the Observer made by DuncanDunclub have several notable differences from the current model in-game.
    • For example, it's seen donning three bands upon its cloak instead of the traditional two that its current model and Enlighteners have.
  • The aforementioned depictions also show the Observer sustaining physical damage, represented by chips, cracks, and entirely detached chunks of its body, which contradicts a fact previously stated above this one.
  • These are also the only known images to show the Observer using another weapon besides its eye beam, which are large orange gauntlets.
  • The Observer can be spotted out of bounds in The Void, this is much more evident by using Camera Settings, putting FOV to 10, and setting Roblox's Graphics settings to 1 or 2.
