- Thornware was added to Databrawl Roleplay on May 16, 2018. Botnet was added alongside Thornware.
- Thornware could possibly be the first fictional character added to Databrawl Roleplay, as Rosalia was introduced a few days later.
- Originally, Thornware was available in Character Pack #1. On June 6, 2019, it was changed to a Group Exclusive character after DuncanDunclub had noticed that Thornware was rarely used.
- The gamepass icon for Character Pack #1 still shows off Thornware in the image, as the icon was never updated after Thornware's change.
- On August 23, 2022, Thornware were removed due to being outdated.
