- Databrawl Roleplay's UI has gotten a major facelift!
- The Main Menu now has character previews for all characters, new icons for hostility/canonicity status, and other QoL changes.
- The Battle Window has been updated with new art and a flashier appearance, as well as a new info blurb and a clearer indication when teleporting.
- The Shop Window has been updated with a fancier look, a vastly simplified UI, and all of our shirts added directly to the Avatar Items section!

- Health reduced from 750 to 350.

- All Bytes have a new ability, and also have a circle around them to indicate the range of their zap/heal.
- For Corruption Bytes; Static Strike: After a windup (during which you're slowed down), shoot a fast moving AOE projectile that deals 10 damage and leaves a lingering AOE that applies a slow debuff to enemies that walk on it.
- For Firewall Scout; Flare Wisp; After a windup (During which you're slowed down), shoot a flare wisp that deals 1 damage and applies a burn debuff (not to be confused with the 99Degrees burn status effect), which deals 1 damage every half second (2 DPS) for 10 seconds.
- Firewall Scout now also has an advanced skin/variant.
- For Program Byte; Heal Burst: After a windup, heal nearby allies 10 HP, and make your heal rate 3 hp every 0.5 seconds, increase range by 4 for 6 seconds and increase max targets to 8.
- Passive Heal tickrate increased from 0.75 to 1.5, and now heals 8 HP, decreased by 1 per each target, with a minimum of 5.
- Health Regeneration is stopped for 5 seconds after being tagged by another player.

- Replaced Alpha Premium Program with Alpha Program Chubb, based on its original 2018 model, Alpha Programs can now equip colorable Premium Sparkles as a body accessory.
- Gave Alpha chubb/brutes/executor unique preview icons reminiscent of the early DB art style.
- Gave Alpha Characters a colorable base (and eyes) and unified their materials to all match.
- Applied Multihex to all remaining public characters, removed the Multihex indicator from the character lists as a result.

- Officially acknowledged the removals of Corruption Brutes and Doomjuice (it happened without any announcement 7 days ago).

- Base Defender from a certain DB fangame was sucked into the rift in another dimension and has been sent to the Battle Zone as a Mega Token character.
- Fixed Stuxnet being unable to be colored.

April 3, 2025 (Battle)[]
- Reverted the change regarding Firewall team special token earned characters, although they still can't grab tokens in the event at the time.
- Firewall Sentry is now a Special Token earned character for the Firewall team.
- Reverted the change where Event variants of non-Special Token characters could no longer spawn, but only to Defaults, Brawlers, and Chubbs.
- Re-added Lesser Bloatware to the event as a Mega Token character instead of a rare spawn, and was also given a major stat rework.

- Databrawl's 7th anniversary is at hand! Balloons and floats have been set up as confetti rains from the sky!
- Movement system has been somewhat overhauled thanks to lazerwolf11. Your character will now smoothly follow your mouse while aiming, adding a new level to gameplay.
- Shot Baton has been reworked and remodeled, with brand new melee animations and a new ranged mode that's AOE based rather than projectile based.
- Fire Canister has been reworked and remodeled with an expansion-based cloud function, with the addition of a delay on impact and a beeping noise while flying through the air.
- New Firewall Security melee weapon: Flash Staff!
- Slower and slightly weaker than the Shot Baton in melee, but provides some more swinging range.
- Instead of a damage based ability, it applies Daze to enemies in front of you, though this requires full mag to activate.
- Daze effect length depends on distance. The further you are, the shorter it lasts.
- All character are now able to use jump pads, even super heavy tanks!
- Coolant Refinery and the burned down place have permanently swapped places, no more waiting until April Fools.

- This variant of Happy99 comes in sizzling hot! Rather than having a shotgun blast with a bunch of small bullets, this blazing boy lobs exploding fireballs that leave the area burning when they hit the ground! The twister may be slower, but now it sprays fire all over the place!
- Because half of its body is made of fire, it has less health and is weaker in close quarters. It makes up for this with the new Burning mechanic it can apply to enemies!
- This big bundle of blaze can be earned in DBRP when you defeat 15 burning enemies on any team!
- Holly ROM added to Databrawl Battle Mode as a replacement for Prince ROM.
- It takes two to tango, and this miser is here for a fight! He's so cold, fire is snuffed out before it can even singe his coat! With both of these folks duking it out, some may say it's too much! (Gameplay wise, Holly ROM is identical to Prince ROM, just with fire immunity)
- Burning can be reduced or stopped with healing bytes, food, and program hearts. 99Degrees and Holly ROM are immune to burning. Fire gets blown out when Everfrozen Rudolph approaches it.
- Holly Cookie's Toymaker's Hammer has been buffed from 24-28 DMG to 32-36 DMG.
- Fixed an issue where Hardware Kriger's parry ability couldn't be activated on Mobile.

- New dizzy animation added to Databrawl Roleplay, activated by typing "/e dizzy" into the chat similarly to other Roblox emote animations. The animation causes a character to display the Dizzy facial expression. Some characters are not compatible with the update at this time. Before this time, the Dizzy facial expression was unused, and was only present for a few characters.

July 18, 2020 (Roleplay)[]
- Luckyclover and Ransomware got a redesign.
- Utopigram, Paingram, Classicgram, Smartgram, Governgram, Swinewall Security, Living Quarterite, Firewall Guardian and it's mini form, Tyrant, and Polymorphic all added to Roleplay. Three of these characters are badge-earned, while three of these characters are Restricted.
- Some character icons were remade by tails4823.
- Shy Computer characters were all revamped.
- Frie came back to the public, this time in Character Pack #1.
- "Movie Mode" button was replaced with the "GUI:Enabled" button. Previously, "Movie Mode" would cause the GUI to disappear, but would cause black bars to appear on the top and bottom of the screen, like a widescreen movie. Upon "Movie Mode" being replaced with "GUI:Enabled", the black bars no longer come on the screen to create a "movie" effect, and simply cause the GUI to disppear when the button is set to "GUI:Disabled".
- Fixed a bug where attempting to teleport to a crossover badge game would send the player to the Databrawl Hubworld instead.

- Zone system reworked so that Coins do not need to be brought back to a team's spawn area in order for them to be deposited into the team's boost pool. Instead, collecting Coins instantly places them into a team's boost pool.
- Hit detection updated.
- Brawlers' Ground Smash attack (along with equivalent attacks such as Fire Smash) can no longer spike.
- Spawn areas given protection so that enemies who enter them are slowly damaged over time until they exit the spawn area.
- Grabbing a Special Token teleports players back to their spawn before they are able to use the obtained Special Character.
- Food bags no longer automatically heal players when they are below full health upon collection. Instead, players get food placed into their inventory upon collecting a food bag.

- Brawlers' Ground Smash attack made to only work on the ground. When the Ground Smash move is used in the air, instead of a typical Ground Smash a mechanic known as "spiking" will occur. When this happens, Brawlers will keep their hands raised above their heads until they come into contact with either the ground or a mid-air enemy. If they come into contact with the latter, they will slam the enemy with their hands, causing the enemy to shoot to the ground at a high velocity. If they come into contact with the former, they will perform a usual Ground Smash.
- Corruption Bodiers added as Special Characters.
- Lesser Bloatware made into a very rare spawn for Programs as opposed to being a Special Character.
- Anti-bunnyhopping mechanic added which causes characters to have reduced speed while jumping.
- Chakram and Hatchet damage buffed.

Roleplay[]
- Program Apartments gets expanded. There are now 26 total rooms that are each labeled for easy findings, all of which have furnishings. Beds, Televisions, and kitchen appliances have been given to all of the rooms (besides the spawn room and the top floor hallway).
