- Ironically enough, Upgraded Dough Boi was supposedly based off the Pillsbury Dough Boy, due to Lemonfell comparing the Malware Captured Chubb to the character via appearance.
- Upgraded Dough Boi became a free public character during Databrawl's 2019 April Fools Event, and again in the 2021 April Fools Event in Jokebrawl Dontplay. However, he did not appear in the 2020 April Fools Event.
- Upgraded Dough Boi's design is a reference to The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters. (No it isn’t.)
