Legacy Lore

This page contains many lore elements that are not considered part of the new, official lore. It's very unlikely that it will still be considered canon for new lore, but will maintain relevance in old lore.

Vriskuses are an alternate type of Virus that are purple and have gradients in their coloring.

Unlike other Virus types who are cycloptic, Vriskuses have multiple eyes. Vriskuses also have bat-like wings. Canonically, they are stronger and faster than default Viruses, and fight in large hordes.

Lore[]

According to Xtriel, originally, Vriskuses did not have the appearance they currently have. Upon first entering the Hollow Computer, they looked similar to Babruses, except with a different color. However, they eventually began to evolve and mutate into what they are in order to attempt to combat earlier models of Fructowall Security units.

Weapons/Abilties[]

Flight - In lore (but not in-game), Vriskuses can fly by using their wings.

In-game, Vriskuses use the same weapons as default Viruses:

Rank Variants[]

Vriskuses can have different rankings, in addition to different classes.

Refined Vriskus[]

Refined Vriskuses are upgraded versions of Vriskuses. Small, purple, glowing particles float off of them in small bursts.

More Vriskus (Standard) Images[]

Vriskus Brawlers are a larger, stronger, and faster variant of Vriskus.

Weapons/Abilities[]

Ground Smash - Vriskus Brawlers have the ability to perform an AOE "Ground Smash" attack by slamming their fists into the ground, which causes a cloud of colored dust (which matches Vriskus Brawlers' color, albeit more dusty/grayish) to rise from the ground.

Megapunchers - Vriskus Brawlers have the ability to punch their enemies with their fists, called "Megapunchers".

Rank Variants[]

Vriskus Brawlers can have different rankings in addition to the standard, basic rank.

Vriskus Nybbles are the Nybble versions of Vriskuses.

More Vriskus Nybble Facts[]

  • They were released in the Databrawl Betaween event in 2021
  • There used to not be Vriskus Nybbles in the 2020 Halloween Event. Instead, there were standard Virus Nybbles but with Vriskus accessories.

Vriskus Bodiers are larger and stronger versions of Vriskus. They're basically standard Virus Bodiers with a few noticeable differences moveset-wise.

They can be obtained in Databrawl Roleplay by earning the "Town Savage" badge.

Weapons/Abilities[]

Giga Punchers - Hollow Bodiers have the regular Bodier fists with no changes in damage or speed.

Hoard Call - Instead of a Super Smash, Hollow Bodiers can release a Gruel-like radius that buffs any teammates (including the Hollow Bodier itself) by x1.3 damage, x1.2 speed, and x1.2 jump.

Self-Destruct - When a Hollow Bodier dies, they do one last radius attack that will heavily damage anyone that's within the radius. Specifically, Vriskus Bodier will drop their coffin, which will explode in a damaging shockwave.

Knockback Resistance - Hollow Bodiers cannot be flung by Mines or Special Tokens.

More Facts[]

  • Lorewise, Vriskus Bodiers are undead revenants and carry their own dead bodies in the coffins inside their ribcage.
    • Ingame, the Vriskus Bodier also has slightly darker eyes than regular Vriskus, signifying that they're undead in nature.
